As we continue with Toyota and the road to a Green Culture, one of the most simple ways to ensure a green college campus are recycling bins. Just ask TGI Green Ambassador Shana Dunning from Spellman College.
The Decatur, Illinois native is a Political Science major at the prestigious college and plans to graduate in May. Check out her pitch for the recycling on campus below.
In the past, Spellman College has worked with non-profit organization Elemental Impact to help display recycling signs and bins around the campus. Many campuses also engage in five step programs and informative recycling projects and in the end eliminate tons of waste.
