When you think about dating, eating green doesn’t necessarily come to mind.

It can be tricky for people to be mindful of their date while enjoying the mouth-watering steak, but don’t fear this where TGI’s Green Culture comes in. Every week, we’ll show you some of the hottest green restaurants in America, according to your favorite dish.

This week we’ll be checking out the best Asian restaurants from some of the coolest places in the US. We’re hungry already!

Din Ho Chinese BBQ

Hanging out at SXSW with the bae this week? Check out Din Ho Chinese BBQ in Austin, Texas. The restaurant located in on the North side of Austin, has a wide variety of green friendly meals like the Sauteed Snow Pea Leaves, Singapore Noodles, and marinated BBQ dishes for pescatarian lovers.

Lukshon 

(Los Angeles, CA)

If you need a place to grab lunch with your date, check out Lukshon in Los Angeles. The hip restaurant has a fun blend of Asian Fusion and Thai food for all of your green needs. Some of its signature dishes include Sichuan style Ma Po Tofu, coconut rice cakes and red rice (with or without bacon of course.)

The menu is a little on the pricy side, but it’s worth every penny. Make your reservation here.

Pok Pok 

(Brooklyn, New York)

Popular Chef Andy Ricker expanded his business to Brooklyn by opening another Pok Pok thai restaurant. This is a great place to take a meat eater because many of the dishes are available for vegetarians. With authentic spices and flavorful entrees, a second date is promised after this! Tropical Chinese

(Miami, Fla.)

Tropical Chinese is the best place to go after a calm relaxing day on the beach. Named by Gourmet Magazine as one of the Best Restaurants in Florida and Zagat as The Top 20 Food Ranking Restaurant in the US, this place has a great reputation with the food to back it up.

The green dishes are limited, but if you’re a seafood lover you will enjoy the lobster and succulent shrimp. Book your reservation here.

Who says you can’t enjoy Asian Cuisine in the South? Atlanta has signature spots that serve some of the city’s best Asian delights. Chow Baby has four locations in the city, with a special “build your own bowl,” and Mongolian and Vietnamese dishes. Are you hungry yet?
