Today in “Stories From Florida,” we have a married father who decided to solicit prostitutes with his toddler in the car and a student who tried to poison his teacher with hand sanitizer.
Sex Couldn’t Wait:
A Daytona Beach man was arrested after he tried to pick up a prostitute, who was really an undercover cop, for oral sex on busy Ridgewood Avenue.
But his arrest should be the least of his worries. Now he has to deal with an angry wife who found out her husband was soliciting sex…and with their 3-year-old in the backseat.
But Patrick Williams claims that wasn’t the case at all.
“I never solicited in any way. She came over, offered everything. It’s a big entrapment. Police sting,” Williams told WESH 2.
“I said I got my kid. She said ‘that’s cool, I’ve got a room.’ I said ‘yeah, yeah whatever.’ Then we turn around to get away from my car. As soon as I turned, drove way away. Blocks up the road, they lit me up,” Williams said.
It gets better. When asked why he even stopped to talk to the woman, Williams said he planned on praying for her. Uh…sure. Read about it here.
The Spiked Drink:
A Florida teenager was arrested after allegedly pouring hand sanitizer in his teacher’s Diet Coke in an attempt to poison her.
Yep, that happened.
The 15-year-old was charged with a first-degree felony. He also faces an expulsion from the school.
Walton County Superintendent of Schools Carlene Anderson told the paper that the teacher is fine, though she became physically ill and went to the hospital after drinking the tainted soda.
But the teen has some backup. Anderson says school officials told her the boy is a prankster who didn’t intend for the teacher get sick. Read about it here.
