Two sisters in Oklahoma suffered two huge tragedies within a 48-hour period when both of their parents died just 2 days apart from one another.

Crystal Rose Cooper and John Cooper died in the same week, leaving their two girls Emily (16) and Hallie (11) orphaned children.

According to News Channel 4, their mother passed away from a heart attack one day, and the father followed just two days later in a fatal car accident.

Their Aunt Misty sat with them during an interview with the news outlet, where she talked about their strength through it all.

Their Aunt said of the tragedy:

“I cannot imagine what these girls are going through at all.”

She said of their mother’s death:

“She was on the ground, she was just clipping goats and fell over. She said hold on and just fell over.”

An FFA Advisor said of older sister Emily:

“I saw a girl with incredible strength. Emily said, `This has been a big part of mom and I’s life and I want to honor her by doing what we were getting ready to do.’

The girls have currently started an auction for their parents’ farmer tools, which has been a huge success, as many people want to donate to the young kids. So far, a GoFundMe foundation has raised $12,000 for them.

The advisor said of the auction:

“I don’t know what to expect out of this auction. But I know it’s going to be pretty incredible because that`s what Oklahoma does. They support their own.”

Currently, the girls have been moved to Prague, where they are being taken care of by family members. A lot of supporters in Oklahoma have reached out with hopes of doing something to help the sisters.

We pray for the Cooper girls and hope that they stay strong throughout this extremely difficult time.
