In a recent interview with Sirius XM’s Shade 45, Eminem‘s hip-hop channel, Slim Shady’s former prodigy 50 Cent spoke on having to compete with another king in the game — King B.
While discussing his friendly competition with Jay Z over the years, 50 pointed out that he couldn’t compete anymore once Hov snagged the hottest chick in the game and had her wearing his chain. Beyonce’s worldwide success after releasing the chart-topping, Grammy award-winning hit “Crazy In Love” with her now husband added to Jay’s stock, securing his win against 50 Cent.
“When he signed the Beyoncé contract and was like, ‘Yeah men lie, women lie, numbers don’t.’ That sh– is a tough one to beat,” 50 said before laughing and singing the infamous “uh-oh” portion of Bey and Jay’s 2003 single “Crazy in Love.”
50, known for throwing tons of shade throughout his entire career, couldn’t resist his habit when it came to the billionaire couple.
“I can’t really get with it. When she [Beyonce] start doin’ that I was like ‘God damn, he [Jay Z] done went and got breasts,”’ Fif said jokingly.
