Yesterday, the queen of Instagram released a beautiful ballad called “Sorry.” Teyana is telling a story: over the downbeat piano, Teyana talks about an ex who didn’t appreciate her fully:
“I’m sorry you didn’t know how to love me.
I’m sorry I wasn’t beautiful to you.
I’m sorry you didn’t understand how to be my man.
I’m sorry you couldn’t make me happy.
And I’m so sorry you never learned how”
It’s a heartfelt song that’s worth your time. We hope to hear more music like this from the girl. In fact, we hope to hear more music from her period.
