It is Friday. Thank God.
Wait. We got that wrong. It’s thank God it’s Friday. And if you’re a ’90s baby, you are well acquainted with the phrase: For more than 14 years, ABC had a block of television called “Thank God It’s Friday”…better known as TGIF.
The series had some of the most iconic television shows of the ’90s. Because of TGIF, we got Family Matters, Full House, Step by Step, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sister, Sister and so much more. (There were also plenty of duds —Making the Band, anyone? — but we won’t get into all of that.)
