While the hottest names in fashion attended the 2014 Met Gala last night, the hottest songwriters in music were at the 2014 SESAC Pop Awards.
Songwriters and artists like Charli XCX, Rico Love, Hezekiah Walker all graced the red carpet with their presence.
Both Rico Love and Charli XCX received awards for their excellent songwriting skills, and despite being the voice behind Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Charli XCX penned her first cult classic with Icona Pop’s “I Love It” earning her the SESAC “Songwriter of the Year” award.
