Nicki Minaj was the Head Barb in Charge at Power 106 L.A.’s Powerhouse 2014 concert on Saturday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

Nicki is gearing up for the release of her next album, The Pink Print, and judging by her more natural looks and accompanying street-centric set list, Ms. Minaj is returning to her hip-hop roots.

Nicki performed “Lookin’ A** Ni**a,” her verse on Young Thug’s “Danny Glover” remix, classics “Did It On ‘Em,” “Beez in the Trap,” “Dance (A$$),” and “Love More,” following up with PTAF’s “Boss A** Bi**h” remix.

Nicki even brought out surprise guest Soulja Boy, who helped perform their collaboration “Yasss Bish!!” for the first-time.

And yes, Nicki didn’t totally abandon her ridiculously catchy pop tracks, doing a small medley of “Super Bass” and “Starships,” and closing out her 30-minute stage time with “Moment 4 Life.”

Ms. Minaj also announced that the lead single off her new album The Pink Print arrives on Wednesday. Watch her performance below.
