A paraplegic Canadian man is taking legal action against a local hospital after a botched surgery left him with a “shorter penis.”

According to the Daily News, the man, who wishes to remain anonymous, is suing Quebec’s Le Gardeur hospital for $142,00 for negligence after he was admitted to the hospital for a penis injury. And, according to the patient, the accidental shortening of his penis may be worse than the loss of his legs.

“This has caused a greater impact on my life than when I lost the use of my legs,” the paraplegic plaintiff told QMI Agency. After being rushed to hospital, the suit says a nurse “made a brief visual inspection of the penis without touching it.”

Apparently, the patient suffered an injury to his penis from having sex with his wife in July 2011.

After he was brought into the hospital, the man claims no one examined him. When he returned to the hospital weeks later, he discovered he had a fractured penis. After getting surgery to fix his Johnson, the job shortened his penis by an inch. The man claims he was unable to have sex with his wife for several weeks. Weeks then turned into years, and he and his wife separated.

The man blames the surgeons for a botched penis job.

The injury required an operation that left a “permanent scar” on his reproductive organ.

The hospital hasn’t released a statement regarding the incident, but let’s hope this guy finds another way to raise his spirits.
