Songwriter/producer PARTYNEXTDOOR , whose real name is Jahron Brathwaite, is the next big artist emerging from Canadian’s frigid clutches.
The 21-year-old artist first came onto the scene last year when he dropped his eponymous debut project July 2013. Since then, he’s been working closely with Drake as a signee of the rapper’s OVO Sound label. Not only did he co-produce Drake’s rumored Rihanna-inspired gem “Days In The East,” but he’s also featured as the vocals on various track off Drake’s third studio album, Nothing Was The Same.
Fall 2013, the Mississauga crooner began opening for Drake, Miguel, and Future on their collaborative “Would You Like A Tour?” tour. Now, the “Recognize” singer is gearing up to make a bigger splash on the music scene with his follow-up project, PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO, which is slated to drop on iTunes July 29.
