Lil Bibby and Kevin Gates are two of the best pure rappers on 2014’s XXL Freshmen cover.
So when you hear the two have a track together, you get excited: Bibby just released “We Are Strong,” which will be featured on the Chicago rapper’s Free Crack 2 mixtape.
On the song, Bibby and Gates rap over Pat Benatar’s ’80s hit “Love is a Battlefield.” (A sample that rappers have conquered in the past.)
The two rap about their experiences after getting some fame in the rap game. Song is fire (there are some heavy bars here).
