West Coast singer Tinashe has linked up with TV On The Radio‘s David Andrew Sitek, who has also collaborated with Kelis and Santigold, to create her newest single “Xylophone.”
The bassy, futuristic song was recorded as part of Dr. Pepper’s One of a Kind Studio Sessions, and will also be featured on Sitek’s forthcoming EP At Any Cost. Sitek’s EP will feature appearances from Rockie Fresh, Robert DeLong, and RAC.
In the meantime, Tinashe is finishing up her highly anticipated debut album, Aquarius, due for release in September. The young up-and-comer has found much success in the past year with a string of collaborations with high-profile artists like Travis Scott, RZA, and most notably ScHoolboy Q and DJ Mustard for her hit single “2 On.”
