If you’re like many lucky kids in the world, then your parents sent you to summer camp during the warm out-of-school seasons where you made tons of friends and learned all sorts of new things.
For some lucky campers in the New England area, their time away from home has gotten that much better as camps in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and more states were chosen as a tour stop on the official Camplified Summer Tour!
This is Camplified’s 13th season on the road, and they’ve got an incredible line-up with new major artists including Lanz Pierce, who we did an exclusive interview with last month, Go Down Moses, Bad Seed Rising, 5 Angels, The Romantic Era, Steven Cooper, Luke Potter, and The Heydaze.
A couple of camps will even get to witness a special performance from new pop favorite Oh Honey!
The tour has been on the road since July 6th, but still has some more camps to visit before wrapping up on August 10th. It’s surely one campers won’t want to miss as there will be meet-and-greets with artists and swag packages to take home!
Leading up to the evening’s performances, campers will also be able to participate in tons of activities provided by sponsors of the tour:
This year, branded activities include Making Your Band by Ducktape, where campers create a band name, signature look and instruments before performing “air guitar style” with the best band created winning the chance to perform live on stage. Campers looking to beat the heat will hit the Aquafina rehydration station, where they can chill with a cool drink and tunes by 808 Audio before heading to the DJ Clinic for a mid-day dance party and the chance to play DJ with 10 iPad DJ stations from Ion Audio. Campers can also create their own tunes at the Roland Instrument Clinic, complete with one-on-one hang time with the artists and secret acoustic set from one Camplified band. Scavenger Hunts and Relay Races, inspired by upcoming book title releases and YuGiOh continues their multi-year sponsorship by sending Youth Expert National Champion, Kristopher Perovic, for a day of clinics for all interested campers.
Camplified has been developed by Aimee Berger and powered by Primary Wave Music, where they have organized over 120 performances for this tour to take place in two months.
