Miss Hill has spoken.
In the wake of the Ferguson protests and Michael Brown’s death, Lauryn Hill releases a previously recorded song she fittingly titled “Black Rage.” Although rage is included in the title, the famed femcee pushes peace for all the protests in Missouri.
Lauryn shared the record on Twitter and stated:
An old sketch of Black Rage, done in my living room. Strange, the course of things. Peace for MO. – MLH https://t.co/47v9BEDoN6

“Black age is founded on two-thirds a person, rapings and beatings and suffering that worsens/ black human packages tied up in strings, black rage can come from all these kinds of things,” spits Lauryn.
