With the release of Chris Brown‘s album just a  few days away, we can all expect hits to hit, and that’s including the duet with songstress Jhene Aiko. The two engage in an intoxicating collabo called “Drunk Texting.” Jhene had this to say about how the song came to be: “They sent the song and it was easy. I just had to go in there and sing it with him. I actually recorded it in this tight schedule, but I really did enjoy the song and I felt like people are really gonna be singing this. They’re gonna relate to the song ’cause everyone of drinking age can relate to drunk texting.” Watch the full interview here —> [Rap-Up]

ATL rapper Killer Mike defends the Atlanta Hawks owner Bruce Levenson, saying he is being unfairly labeled as a racist over an email from 2012. The email, which went viral last weekend, shows Levenson explaining that “the high percentage of black people at his games was scaring off rich white people.” Mike went on to say that there is nothing racist about making those observations. ” It’s not remotely racist at all. What I read was a business man trying to fill up his seats with the demographic that spends the most money.” [TMZ]
