We caught up with The Mighty Roots Crew on the red carpet of the 2014 Nickelodeon Halo Awards in New York City.
During our chat Questlove talks about all the amazing artists the Roots were able to jam with, as well as the being the voice of America as the house band for “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
Then it was during a session at Cipha Sounds: Take IT Personal Improv Show, where Questlove told the funniest story about Prince inviting him to a private skate party the legendary crooner was throwing for his ex girlfriend.
While at the party Prince’s skates were, well, very comical. Check out the interview above.
