It’s about damn time.
It’s been more than two years since Frank Ocean released his acclaimed debut album channel ORANGE, but he’s quietly readying his sophomore follow-up, and offering us the new song “Memrise.”
Although we haven’t received a lot of new music from the 27-year-old crooner over the past two years, he’s still been working. In December 2013, Frank appeared on Beyonce’s self-titled album. And in early 2014, Frank teamed up with Converse to record the artist mashup song “Hero” featuring Mick Jones,Paul Simonon, and Diplo.
It’s still unclear when Frank will release his new project, but you can expect production by Rodney Jerkins, Hit-Boy (who recently retired), and Happy Perez.
