We’ve been following Harlem rapper Dave East for some time now, and he’s steadily building a buzz amongst the streets with last year’s mixtapes Black Rose and Straight Outta Harlem.

With less than two weeks until his forthcoming project drops, Dave East releases a gritty new freestyle titled “Right.”

“Nas got me, now I’m tryna talk to Jay/ can I put my city on my back?, sh*t that’s hard to say, got too many fouls it be hard to play,” raps Dave.

Dave’s forthcoming project HMN (Hate Me Now) is scheduled to drop in early September. In the meantime, take a listen to his J. Demers-produced cut below.
