Here’s another voice to fall in love with.
Meet Kenneth Whalum, an acclaimed musician who’s worked with legends like Jay Z, Diddy, and Maxwell, and now he’s working on his own sh*t.
This may be the first time you’ve heard us mention his name, but there’s a very good chance you’ve heard his voice. The industry veteran’s currently a backup singer and saxophonist for D’Angelo, however he’s gearing up to release his forthcoming new project, Through Hell & High Water.
“So take your time as you go, take as much as you want,” Kenneth croons on his new song “Ghost Town.” “Cause once you’re gone, please be gone.”
Through Hell & High Water is scheduled to drop sometime this year. Take a listen to “Ghost Town” below.
