Kanye West‘s Yeezy Boost 350 won Footwear News’ “Shoe Of The Year” to the surprise of no one.
It’s hard to argue with the cultural impact the adidas sneakers hold, and the part ‘Ye played in reviving the three stripes. Footwear News’ achievement awards were last night, and Kanye was on hand to accept the award. He was accompanied by Global Director of Entertainment and Influencer Marketing Jon Wexler, who he credits for letting him design freely.
“Jon Wexler saved my life. He knows about Chicago culture. When you go out to work with someone, know their back story,” he said.
