After months of grainy pictures, we’ve finally gotten a good look at the Air Jordan XXX. The midsole tooling is very similar to the Jordan XX9, an amazing feature for fans of the FlightPlate, a sturdy yet comfortable setup for balling. The iconic Jumpman logo sits atop the toe box, and the rest of the upper is covered in an argyle pattern inspired by the jersey that Jordan wore at the University of North Carolina. It’s gotta be the shoes. Colon cancer survivor Steve “Scuba” Johnson credits Kanye West’s adidas Yeezy Boost 350 with saving his feet. During radiation treatments, Johnson suffered severe blisters and was unable to walk in his usual flip-flops. He’d purchased two pairs of Yeezy Boost 350s he was initially saving to sell, but decided that his comfort was more important. While Kevin Hart was doing stand-up comedy, acting, and appearing in hilarious skits on The Bachelor, he must’ve found the time to design his own Nike sneakers. The funny man took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to debut his kicks. The shoes seem to resemble a sturdier, yet slimmed down version of the Nike FlyKnit Chukka. To show off his sneakers, he hopped on top of Fallon’s desk and did a rap squat, a pose that would be equally as fitting on his alter ego Chocolate Droppa’s album cover.
