Time Magazine released their list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Turns out hip-pop has made its mark!

One notable influential woman on the list managed to carve out a lane for herself to the top, all while sharing the stage with two other media darlings.

TV host Kathy Griffin writes:

She presides over her own media empire — talk show, sitcom, books — all while sharing a network with Ryan Seacrest and the Kardashians. To hell with the TIME 100; she should be Person of the Year just for putting up with Khloe.

She’s talking about Chelsea Handler, who also was rumored to be involved with 50 Cent, proving herself to be a true influencer of hip-pop. From Rihanna to Jessica Chastain, the new wave of hip-pop is being felt all over the world.

In the digital age, groups like Anonymous have also made their mark though sheer disdain for authority, earning a spot on the list.
