GlobalGrind was in on a little surprise for one of our favorite Celebrity Bloggers. Last night, in Miami at chic and trendy Prime One Twelve, 45 close friends and family of Cincinatti Bengals Wide Receiver, Chad OchoCinco surprised the newly engaged star with a lavish birthday celebration. Spearheaded by his beautiful fiance ‘Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozado, the ladies of TuffLuv, and YES Productions. Chad was pleasantly surprised when he walked into the restaurant and saw familiar faces like Trina, Terrell Owens, and Willis McGahee all in attendance to share in a first for the football star turned reality TV personality.
Chad was told by his fiance Evelyn, who had been secretly planning this party for a month, that they were just attending another run of the mill event in Miami and then they would escape off to Club Mansion to officially celebrate his birthday with R&B crooner Trey Songz. With the plan in tack, Chad dressed in a Dolce and Gabanna Blazer, Ferragamo belt and Louis Vuitton Shades escorted his lady to the ‘event.’ All things seemed to be normal as the duo arrived to Prime OneTwelve and headed to the red carpet to take pictures, but what was looming inside the venue, which was sponsored by Tequila Distinguido, would be a first for our friend Chad.
Chad OchoCinco has NEVER had a birthday party- EVER! So we watched in excitement as he walked into the restaurant in a shy manner, and was greeted with screams of ‘Surprise’ and ‘Happy Birthday.’ A startled Chad then sprung into deep gratitude mode took time to embrace every patron and party goer before sitting down to enjoy dinner. One of the stand out moments was when Chad was escorted to his table and layed eyes on three beautiful ladies there to provide the ultimate surprise- His daughters, faces gleaming with happiness and smiles revealing missing teeth- belted a huge ‘Happy Bithday Daddy’ which visibly melted the proud dad! As the night went on, Chad was pleasantly surprised for the third time with a video montage from friends and family, wishing him tons of love and recounting the many reasons why he was special to them. With messages from Trina, Keri Hilson, his fiance and family, the night began to wind down- and even the blind could see the smile that was permenantly plastered on Chads face since he walked into the restaurant. With the announcement of the after party and a sincere ‘Thank you all,’ Chef Rene of Get Cake Catering emerged from the kitchen with a cake mirroring Christian Louboutin sneakers and in unison the crowd sang Happy Birthday, with half the crowd saying Chad and the other half saying OchoCinco! The night was magical, the love encased the entire restaurant, and GlobalGrind was so happy that we got to share in a first for one of our favorite bloggers!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD OCHOCINCO!!!!
