Diddy‘s made millions off Ciroc, that ultra premium vodka we all love. It’s safe to say almost anything Diddy touches turns to gold. And, it looks like he’s got plans to lend his golden touch to the tequila industry. E! has the exclusive story…

Sean “Diddy” Combs is headed to Mexico.

The hip-hop mogul exclusively tells [Marc Malkin] that he’s going to take a shot at the tequila business…

“There isn’t one particular tequila that I love and I’ve been spending a lot of time in Mexico,” Combs told me today while promoting his recently released second Rat Pack-inspired commercial for Cîroc vodka.

“So in the next year, you will probably see me going toe to toe with John Paul [Jones DeJoria], who owns Patrón,” he added. “I’ll be challenging him to who makes the best, smoothest and most authentic tequila in the world.”

Combs is keeping a lid on details, but says he’ll partner with a “true tequila artiste.”

In the meantime, he and Cîroc have joined forces with Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise for a holiday campaign to promote responsible drinking and safe driving.

“I’m a reality-show junkie,” Combs said.

Seriously, he said that!

“My favorite Housewife, hands down, is Nene [Leakes],” Combs said. “I’m an Atlanta Housewives fanatic and I do love the New Jersey Housewives, too. I like the family feud thing…I’m not even embarrassed to say it. You’ll even find me in chat rooms.”
