Drake is having the best week ever.

Drake’s OVO label has inked a lucrative deal with Warner Bros. Records. Although the “Light Up” rapper is signed as a solo artist under Universal Music Group’s umbrella, many are equating Drizzy’s deal to Def Jam-signed rapper Rick Ross, whose Maybach Music imprint is under Warner Bros. as well.

There’s been talk surrounding the progression of Drake’s label since he began his annual OVO music festival in Toronto two years ago, and his close relationship as a mentor to Canadian R&B singer The Weeknd

The specific details of Drake’s deal are still unclear, but fans can expect an official announcement from the Canadian rapper by the end of the week.
