EXCLUSIVE: Young Jeezy Reveals Reservations About TM103: Hustlerz Ambition The Movie

Any person who makes it out of the hood and dangerous circumstances knows that you don’t make it out by sitting around wishing; you have to hustle and you have to have ambition.

GlobalGrind asked Young Jeezy about a hustler’s ambition and the difference, if any, between the ambition of average people or even college students.

EXCLUSIVE: Young Jeezy: “I’m Looking For The N*gga Who Leaked My Sh*t”

As Jeezy would tell it, there’s no difference between a hustler’s ambition and the ambition of a college kid.

Jeezy’s highly anticipated album TM103: Hustlerz Ambition is set to hit store shelves December 20th.

How does a hustler’s ambition differ from an average person or a college grad’s ambition? Or does it?

It’s all the same. Hustlers are hustlers. When you first started out in kindergarten, you never knew you were going to graduate from college. That’s an accomplishment. So you had to go through all those years of training for the next step in your life.

So for me, jumping off the porch when I was younger, everything I went though up until now, trained me for now. Because you can’t get through life without life skills.

I think I got a lot of life skills, I got a lot of wisdom, I’ve seen a lot of bad things happen to a lot of good people. That’s what always told me I don’t want to go down that route because sometimes we can do sh*t out of ignorance and sometimes we can do sh*t out of being pure genius. It’s whatever works for you.

I just think a hustler’s ambition is that I never stop. I start off hustling and said I’ll never stop hustling. An ambitious hustler is the one to hustle the hustlers. When I grew up, my heroes were hustlers. Now I’m their hero. They’re in prison bragging about me, talking about ‘He used to sit at my grandma’s house. We used to kick it.’

A lot of cats don’t understand because you’ve got to be from this walk of life to actually love it and respect it.

It ain’t just about the music. It’s about being the person, it’s about when these young cats see you, they go ‘Damn’ because now they’re looking past the n*ggas on their block just standing there doing nothing. They look at it, ‘Man Jeezy, he’s moving around. He f*cking with Samuel L. Jackson and Jay-Z and Andre 3000.’
