As predicted the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer sold a whopping 1.2 million copies of her Red album in the first week.
Taylor broke records when she sold 4 million single copies from the album on iTunes in 24 hours, which set the bar high for her album sales.

As usual, Taylor fans didn’t disappoint and came through by the millions to cop the 22-year-old’s fourth studio album.
Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar also released his album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, on the same day as Taylor, but it’s clear he has a few more years to acquire dedicated fans.
Kendrick came in at the number two spot with a hearty 242,122 copies sold.
