New York Rep. Anthony Weiner has been engulfed in the center of a political sex hoax. Weiner was a part of an elaborate scheme that made it look as though he tweeted a picture of himself in his underwear to Gennette Cordova, a Seattle-area student who received the infamous erection underwear picture from Weiner’s Twitter.

Since then, Weiner has hired a lawyer to investigate what steps should be taken regarding the lewd photo scandal. The Congressman said that the photo was a prank and nothing more and that police action wasn’t necessary.

“The incident was a prank,” he told the New York Post. “It was intended to distract. I’m not going to let it do it.” Weiner continued, “At a time when the GOP is playing games with the debt limit, a member of the Supreme Court is refusing to recuse himself from matters he has a financial interest in…I don’t. This was a prank, and a silly one. I’m focused on my work.”

Weiner Goes After Supreme Court:

Weiner called out Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for executing, what Weiner calls, “a classic news dump: a release of his financial disclosure.”

Weiner is calling out Thomas for recieving $10,000 for a speech at the University Of Minnesota School of Law while serving on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit Horatio Alger Association.

Weiner has been going hard via his Twitter at Thomas with the hashtag #ConflictedClarence. Weiner believes Thomas should not rule on cases regarding the constitutionality of the health care reform law, due to a potential conflict of interest.
