Following the news of his extended contract with the Brooklyn Nets, basketball star Andray Blatche is now the center of a sexual assault case that he claims he was not involved in.

DETAILS: One Of The Coolest Things About The Brooklyn Nets? Jay-Z Says It’s Him!

The victim of the alleged attack told ABC that she was sexually assaulted in Blatche’s luxury hotel suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia on Tuesday. She claimed that Blatche watched while the incident occurred and that he was fully aware the entire time she was being assaulted.

Blatche, 26, denied the accusations.

“I’m not worried at all. I know everything…when the truth comes out, then everybody will realize what really happened. In the meantime I can’t really have too much comments on it.”

He and two other men who were in the hotel at the time were questioned by police, but were later released.

According to The New York Post, the victim is described as a stripper. She said she had been drinking the night of the assault, though she felt like she had been drugged at the club.

Details about how she got to the room and specifics about the incident are not available, but the victim called police around 3:30 a.m. to report the alleged crime. Police searched the hotel suite and initially said a date-rape drug appeared to have been found, but that was later identified as another substance.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey told reporters that preliminary findings of the investigation show Blatche wasn’t involved.

Commissioner Ramsey also took the unusual step of publicly questioning a potential rape victim’s credibility. He told the New York Times: ‘She was so intoxicated. She is not going to be a very good witness.’

Blatche tweeted about the incident when the news of the investigation broke:

And the Brooklyn Nets released the following statement on Tuesday:

“We are aware of the ongoing police investigation regarding a member of the Brooklyn Nets. “We will have no further comment until the investigation has concluded.”

Wow, let’s hope the police get to the bottom of this!
