As the election looms, the conversation is heating up on both sides! CNBC’s Chris Matthews got into a shouting match with Republican Party Chairman Reince Preibus, accusing him of playing the race card when Mitt Romney made a joke about Obama’s birth certificate last week.

Matthews told Reince during his show Morning Joe, that although both sides have been playing dirty politics, Romney’s jab at Obama’s birth certificate was a low blow and unnecessary.
Preibus denied any race baiting during this election, instead saying that the Republican presidential candidate misspoke.
