Instagram caused some strife in the social media jungle today, when they announced a change in their Terms of Service. Now, the popular photo sharing app has just responded to the mayhem in hopes of clarifying users’ concerns.

DETAILS: Instagram’s New Terms Of Use May Be The App’s Death Wish

The point that ruffled feathers the most was the possibility of selling images, as users were understandably irritated that Instagram felt it could do just that for advertisers.

In a statement, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom addressed concerns this afternoon:

“The language we proposed also raised question about whether your photos can be part of an advertisement.”

He continues:

“We do not have plans for anything like this and because of that we’re going to remove the language that raised the question.”

Instagram titled the statement “Thank You and We’re Listening,” so hopefully this means the company won’t lose too many members and will take their users’ feedback into consideration, because we’re not ready to let go!
