Last night New York’s movers, shakers, designers, rappers and money makers were on the scene at the Plaza Hotel, as some familiar faces rounded up to celebrate an amazing cause.

The Gordon Parks Foundation, a division of the Meserve-Kunhardt Foundation, was established in 2007 to preserve Gordon Parks’ creative work, continue to make it available to the public and to honor others who have contributed their lives to the arts.

Carmelo Anthony, Sofia Vergara, Swizz Beatz and Donna Karan were just a few to show up on the red carpet looking their best with pockets full of charitable funding.

The proceeds from the event will continue the permanent preservation of his work, making it available to schools, museums and communities around the world.

Check out who wore what to the event in the photos below.

Karlie Kloss was sporting a look far removed from her racy leather CFDA look in an elegant navy gown.

Donna Karan opted for black, gold and a high pony-tail. Take a look at that wrist work!

Swizz Beatz kept it elegant in muted neutrals and a pair of personlity glasses.

Sofia Vergara wore a Sofia Vergara dress: tight and right.

Sad face. Carmelo paired an amazing suit with a Keith Haring shirt, smoking slippers and a fedora. We love all the pieces individually (minus the fedora) but aren’t too sure about how they work together.

Estelle kept it classy in a yellow maxi dress with orange shoes.
