Marissa Alexander is free from jail…at least for now.
The woman convicted of shooting at her estranged husband has just been released from jail earlier this week on bond, and is now under house arrest.
According to Action News Jax, she is awaiting a new trial since the judge ruled that there were bad jury instructions during her first trial.
Alexander is being convicted after she shot off two shots near her estranged husband, which her and her attorney claim were “warning shots”.
