Last night Drake was luckily not in the hands of the "po-po" and made his New York debut for the Club Paradise tour at the Jones Beach theater in Long Island, and everything went as planned!
The "HYFR" singer was NOT arrested at his concert like everyone had initially thought would happen, but he didn’t hold back on subliminally addressing the Chris Brown fight.
He opened up his set by saying:
When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things. But the only thing I gave a f*** about was that I was in New York City tonight.
Later in his performance, he made another reference to the situation:
It's last call and you're really too drunk to give a f***.
'A n***** in the corner is standing there looking at you funny. You bump elbows with him on the way to the bathroom, but really there's only one n***** that you got to think about.
Earlier yesterday. Sources for the NYPD implied that Drake would be arrested if he didn’t turn himself in, but later showed that he wouldn’t be taken into custody.
It’s also been reported by TMZ that the night club W.I.P. where the fight between Drizzy and Breezy took place has been closed ‘indefinitely’ due to violations unrelatable to the fight!
We hope that this situation can work itself out, and we’re glad Drake had a great concert!
