The battle of the boy bands just got real!
George tweeted a photo with “Gangnam Style” singer Psy and captioned it:
“Me and Psy getting messy #geekandproud,”
However once Zayn responded all hell broke loose. He posted:
“The first step is acceptance #geekoftheweek,”
Ouch! He then added, “Your display just shows how much of a wannabe you are :).”
Max responded with:
The Wanted’s Tom Parker then added:
And then Malik came back with, "Mate if I had a face like yours my hair would be the last thing I’d worry about :)" followed by Parker posting:
That’s when One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson entered the Twitter beef, telling Parker:
“Pipe down bad boy.”
Malik later responded to George and Parker with, “Let’s not even start discussing vocal ability boys ;) would love to chat gotta run though rehearsals.” George replied, “Enjoy rehearsals. Stay off the bud… It clearly makes u cranky.”
According to Celebuzz this isn't the first time the boy bands went at each other. George recently told MTV he was confused by Tomlinson‘s recent harsh remarks toward the band. The One Direction singer told the UK’s Now magazine:
“If you want to create rivalry, then let’s do it.”
The site reports:
Tomlinson went on to tell the magazine when he first heard The Wanted’s single, “All Time Low,” in the UK, he thought it was a “great song by a great band.” However, once The Wanted hit it big in the U.S. with “Glad You Came,” things started to change among the two British pop bands, he said. And the wounds are still fresh for Tomlinson.
“It changed all of a sudden,” Tomlinson added. “There was one press story where they were bad-mouthing us. I thought maybe that had been twisted. But then there ended up being about 10 stories and they’ve been caught on camera doing little things.”
Drama drama drama!
Hopefully these fellas can work it out!
