Nicki Minaj & Funkmaster Flex Go Pound For Pound Over Summer Jam Cancellation (AUDIO)

After cancelling her Hot 97 Summer Jam performance, Nicki Minaj called into Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex's radio show to address why she pulled out of her show.

Before taking the stage, Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg dissed Nicki Minaj, referring to her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded banger "Starships" as being "bullsh*t" and not real hip-hop.

Nicki Minaj got wind of the diss and decided to pull out of the show on the advice of her boss Lil Wayne. 

Lil Wayne hopped on Twitter and announced that Young Money was no longer doing Summer Jam.

To clear the air, Nicki called into Funkmaster Flex to discuss why she cancelled and her beef with Hot 97. 

Nicki and Flex went pound for pound during their heating discussion, and after a lot of emotion, they decided to agree to disagree. 

There were many rumors as to why Nicki didn't take Summer Jam's stage, but the craziest rumor GlobalGrind heard was that Nicki was planning a funeral for Lil Kim at Summer Jam and she pulled out when Hot 97 officials said "no" to the idea. 

Definitely don't think it's true, but hey, the rumor mill swirls fast.
