Occupy Oakland Police Brutality Causes Second Iraq War Vet To Be Hospitalized (DETAILS)

Kayvan Sabeghi was hospitalized after suffering a ruptured spleen caused by the police brutality at Occupy Oakland. He is the second Iraq war veteran to be hospitalized. The Los Angeles Times has the details:

A second Iraq war veteran who was hurt in Occupy Oakland protests is in stable condition, a hospital spokesperson said Saturday.

Kayvan Sabeghi, 32, was injured Thursday morning at the hands of Oakland Police, according to Dottie Guy, a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War.

A spokeswoman for the Oakland Police Department confirmed in a email that Sabeghi was arrested Thursday, and said the department is conducting an investigation into the circumstances leading to the arrest.
