It is being reported that the school president sent out a safety video on how to deal with an active shooter on campus just this morning.

Details about the school’s safety procedures are still emerging. Earlier, CNN reported that students hid under desks after they heard five to six gunshots on campus.

The spokeperson for the school said that three people were wounded and a fourth suffered from a heart attack.

Jody Neal, name of one of the wounded, has been identified to media.

A local Houston station is confirming that the shooting might have stemmed from an argument.

CNN is also reporting that the person held in custody is confirmed as one of the shooters. The school spokesman has confirmed that one of the shooters was injured in the gun fire:

Sources are confirming that one person is being held in custody, but it is not known if the suspect is the shooter. 

CNN reports that another possible gunman is still at large. Witnesses said that he ran from the academic building into a wooded area near the school.

ABC Houston is reporting that shots have been fired at Lone Star College in Houston, TX.

Authorities are confirming that the campus buildings are being evacuated.

A CNN affiliate has confirmed that multiple people have been shot, but it is not confirmed if there are any deaths.

The shooting happened sometime shortly past noon at the campus at 2700 W. W. Thorne, near Aldine Westfield according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Initial reports indicate at least three people may have been wounded. No other information about injuries was immediately available.

The shooting may have occurred in the library.
