Is this real life?

Oprah Winfrey is in some hot water with the most unlikely of candidates. Based on what you ask? Based on her beauty regimen.

According to a report by The New York Post, The Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project, which opposes the practice of circumcision, plans to picket the queen of talk shows’ appearance tomorrow in Hamilton, Ontario.

The Anti-Circumcision group is up in arms because Oprah has repeatedly endorsed the use of a beauty product containing chemicals that come from human foreskin cells.

According to Fashionista, nearly 9 years ago, on her hit talk show, Oprah endorsed Skinmedica’s anti-aging TNS Recovery Complex, that contains Tissue Nutrient Solution, which is derived from cells of the foreskin.

The group, who clearly opposes circumcision, feels that Oprah’s endorsement of the product is hypocritical given her very public opposition of female genital mutilation.

The Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project founder, Glen Callender, had a bit to say to the Toronto Star about Oprah’s use of the product.

“How would Oprah respond if a cream for men hit the market that was made using cells from the genitalia of little girls? I think she would be absolutely disgusted and appalled, and rightly so,” he said. “So it’s crazy that she’s doing the opposite.”

That is a pretty extreme comparison.
