Just as the sun was ready to set over Manhattan, record label elites, producers and bloggers galore filled the Hudson Hotel’s back hall to get a sneak listen to Kelly Rowland‘s upcoming self-titled album. Sylvia Rhone, president of Universal Motown, knows how to throw a party serving up free booze and gourmet appetizers. Gayle King‘s one on one Q&A with Kelly covered everything from Kelly’s departure from Columbia to rumors circuling a Destiny’s Child beef. Kelly also debuted five songs from her new album including ‘Rose Colored Glasses,’ and two Ne-Yo written songs ‘Grown Woman,’ and ‘Shake The Haters Off.’ Miss Kelly even showed off her vocal range on ‘Forever and A Day’ and ‘Heaven and Earth.’
