Doing real big things, Sally Burton yesterday presented her first collection for the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2011 collection. She had big shoes to fill but she definitely stayed true to the McQueen aesthetic but also taking some risks.

Her collection is refreshing, interesting and full of varied colors and textures. The pieces are all cohesive but totally edgy. Even though they all had a bit of edge to them, they still were feminine and soft.

Alot of pieces embellished on the women’s curves and shapes, suggesting a sense of pride. We are extremely confident about Sally Burton carrying through with the legacy.

Check out the pictures from the presentation and tell us what you think!
