Tomorrow night the Mega Millions cash jackpot numbers will be read. The jackpot is over $300 million and people from all walks of life are lining up for a chance to win big. While some people may use birthdays of loved ones or their old locker combinations, we have a fool proof hip-pop method for picking the winning numbers.

Since we aren’t jerks here at Global Grind, we have decided to share our winning numbers with our readers. So tomorrow night we will all be winning, like Charlie Sheen.

We took our favorite numbers in hip-pop culture and decided which ones would make the best winning combination. We know we are going to win. Besides it’s only a dollar, what’s the worst that could happen?

Our first number is 5. From The Source’s 5 Mic rating system to the Jackson 5, from “The Five Heartbeats” to the Fab 5, 5 has always been the lucky number of hip-pop.

Nas had “One Mic” and he told us all that “the Washington’s go to wifey.” However, Drake is the “one twice over, the new 11,” we thought 11 would be the perfect number. Drake’s cool and unique way of calling himself number 1 sparked our interest. When we win, we’ll have enough one dollar bills to build our house out of them.

Our next number will be 24. Biggie was shot down and killed at the age of 24. His last studio album “Life After Death” had 24 tracks on it and our next Mega Million ticket will have 24 on it as well.

We’ll always love Big Poppa and when we are “Coogi down 2 our socks, with rings and watches filled with rocks,” we shall think of Chistopher Wallace.

Straight from the Slums of Shaolin, Wu Tang‘s “36 Chambers” brought the guys out of the slums and into mansions and fame. We firmly believe that the number 36 can do the same for us.

Do you believe it could be that simple? We can, because the mega millions ain’t nothing to **** with. Chessbox with that!

Jay-Z is one of the richest rappers in the game, who just so happens to be married to one of the richest women in the game. So when Jay-Z starts talking numbers we listen. He had us awestuck when he spat “22 Two’s” and when he dropped “44 Fours” our Mega Millions dreams came true.

To use Jay-Z’s own rhymes, “For all those who ain’t make it here lost their life/ Wouldn’t forget y’all for any price.”

The funny thing about the Mega Millions is that you can get all 5 numbers and not win the jackpot. The mega millions comes with a bonus number and it’s only when you match all 6 numbers that you win the jackpot.

So for our winning bonus number, we decided to go with the rapper who made more than all the other rappers. Sean “Diddy” Combs. The mogul had a hit record called “One.”

So our winning numbers are 5 – 11 – 24 – 36 – 44 – 1.

And if you hit the jackpot, feel free to break us off with some of the winnings!
