Gwen Stefani, a long-time admirer of Japanese culture, has donated $1 million to the Japanese tsunami and earthquake relief fund. Gwen is also planning a charity auction and is creating limited edition “Harujuku Lovers” tees to go towards Japan’s relief efforts.

Gwen has always been a lover of Japan, especially when she began incorporating Japanese Harajuku culture within her shows and overall style. Gwen made a song called “Harajuku Girls” and she also named her clothing and fragrance line in honor of her Japanese love.

“I’ve been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture,” Gwen said.
