To no one’s surprise, President Barack Obama announced that he will run for re-election in 2012.

A short video posted on BarackObama.com officially announced the President’s bid for re-election. With a new campaign slogan, “It begins with us,” the kickoff for Obama 2012 is on. The familiar blue “O” over red and white stripes is back for 2012 and his road dog Joe Biden will also be returning.

In the next 19 months, President Obama will be making the case for why he deserves another term in the White House from the American people. His case is strong—in the last two and half years the accomplishments by our President have been nothing short of remarkable.

Going down the list from unemployment to health care, Barack Obama displayed the mark of a true leader. President Obama, with all the fighting and mudslinging, has accomplished much of what he set out to do. Why should we re-elect him for another term? We have the answer.
