Model and “Dancing With The Stars” competitor, Petra Nemcova, is known for far more than her sexy shots. She is also someone committed to the charity of children.
Her non-profit Happy Hearts Fund works to rebuild and improve children’s lives through educational and sustainable programs after natural disasters. The foundation, which is active in nine countries, has built/rebuilt a total of 47 schools and has more under construction.

So it should come as no surprise that the “DTWS” dancer would announce that she will be building 55 orphanages around the world to continue her mission of improving the quality of children’s lives.
When reached for comment, Russell Simmons spoke of Petra with great praise, “She will go anywhere in the world where she is needed and stay there until the work is complete. I have watched her with great admiration since the beginning of her foundation to help re-build schools in devastated communities that have been hit by a natural disaster all around the world. Now, with her commitment to build orphanages, her angelic status is rising!”
