Yup, it’s that time of year again. The day when stoners across the globe rejoice and profess their love for the popular vice: 4/20.

This year, we decided to run down our favorite songs about weed or by infamous tokers.

Check out the list below … if you’re not too high.

“Mary Jane,” Rick James ― Rick James was in love with “Mary Jane” and she was his “main thing” … this would get the late singer in trouble at times, but it’s still a great song.

“Gin and Juice,” Snoop Dogg ― Wiz Khalifa was just a twinkle in his parents’ eyes when Snoop started rolling papers. Don’t be fooled, “Gin and Juice” was not just a song about a cocktail. The drink was a mere accessory for the indo Snoop and co. were rolling down the street smoking.

“Pass the Dutchie,” Musical Youth ― There’s nothing more endearing than kids singing about passing the ganja. Somehow, whether because of the difference in culture or the catchy melody, no one called child protective services when this song was released.

“Space,” M.I.A. ― M.I.A. never confirmed or denied if “Space” was about being crazy, super high, but the lyrics of the song could easily describe how one feels after one too many tokes. We’ll let you be the judge.

“Purple Haze,” Jimi Hendrix ― The title of this song alone is enough to explain why it would make it on a list of stoner songs. Known as one of the psychedelic drug songs of its time, Hendrix was cited as coming up with the song after a dream in which he was walking under the sea.

“Kush,” Dr. Dre featuring Snoop and Akon ― Dre’s “The Chronic” serves as one of hip-hop’s best odes to marijuana, but in December 2010 the Doctor would release “Kush,” the first single off his upcoming “Detox” album. Bob Marley would be proud.

“I Wanna Get High,” Cypress Hill ― We could probably pick any song from any given Cypress Hill album. From “Hits From the Bong” to “Light Another,” Cypress Hill jumps at any and every chance to celebrate 4/20.
