Beyonce is keeping it simple for her fourth studio album and simply calling it “4.” The diva broke the news in the cover story for Billboard magazine and explained why the number is significant.

“We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me. It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date,” Beyonce revealed to the magazine.

Beyonce went on to shed some light on her recent split with her manager, her father Mathew Knowles. The superstar announced that she’d no longer be managed by Papa Knowles in March and is now managing herself.

“It’s not that anything bad happened between us. My family has my support always, and they support me, but when you’ve been working with the same people for 15 years, it’s natural to eventually have your own ideas,” Beyonce explained. “I believe that parents prepare their kids for the moment that they’re on their own: at this point, I’m taking everything my dad and my mother have taught me, and I’m able to do things my way.”

In other Beyonce news, the diva released the third trailer for the upcoming “Run the World (Girls)” video, which appears to be ready to hit the masses shortly. Beyonce will also receive the Billboard Millennium Award at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards on May 22 in Las Vegas.
