R&B singer Lloyd has “The Tears Of A Clown” as he remakes R&B legend Smokey Robinson & The Miracles’ original song of the same name.

Lloyd covered “The Tears Of A Clown” with the sweet sounds of ivory piano keys banging in the background. Lloyd falsettos over the 1970 classic with just as much ease and grace as Smokey Robinson.
Lloyd sings, “You’re gone and I’m hurting so bad/ Like a clown I pretend to be glad/ Now there’s some sad things known to man/But ain’t too much sadder than the tears of a clown/When there’s no one around.”
