Fresh off the success of “Go The Fuck To Sleep,” the children’s book for adults about getting your kid to sleep that’s sitting high and mighty on top of Amazon and The New York Times Best Sellers List, Magic Propaganda Mill publisher and illustrator Ricardo Cortes is back on tongues with a new book called “Jury Independence Illustrated,” about the legal process we can use to end prosecutions for drug crimes.

The book was launched yesterday during the week of the 40th Anniversary of former President Nixon’s War on Drugs and Cortes plans to distribute it on Wednesday at Brooklyn’s Division of Jurors.

“A jury is designed to protect society from lawbreakers,” Cortes writes, “but it is also a means to protect society from bad law. A jury can nullify a law that it believes unjust or wrongly applied to a defendant. Jury independence is your power to judge the law as well as the evidence, and to vote on a verdict according to conscience.”

Examples of how jurors can use their powers to end unjust drug prosecutions, which can tear apart families and send folks to prison for small offenses, follow after Cortes’ schooling.

You can download it for free. We suggest you get it.
